The best part about being on Cal crew is: The team. Working together for a common goal physically creates such a strong bond between us that I can't imagine being without it.
The best part about the University is: Having so many opportunities. The possibilities are endless! Everything is at your fingertips and help is always available.
My greatest achievement/finest moment was: It hasn't happened yet. It's on the way, but thus far my best moments are when I feel that I'm a part of something bigger being here at Berkeley.
I chose Cal because: I wanted to have a broader, worldlier education. Being from the Midwest, California and the Bay Area seem like another world sometimes. At the best public school in the country, I'm surrounded by greatness: professors, people, places and possibilities.
What sets Cal apart: Its attitude and approach. Everyone appears to be laid back, but the University is filled with the most ambitious people I know. These individuals define newer, higher, better standards everyday, and that forges an environment like no other.
